Hi, I’m Brenda!

I’m an award-winning journalist, photojournalist, travel blogger, and vlogger with a deep passion for travel, the outdoors, and photography. With a background in marketing and journalism and over a decade of media experience, I bring a storyteller’s lens to every adventure.

As an Oregon native, the outdoors are in my blood, and most of my travels include hiking, camping, kayaking, exploring nature’s beauty and capturing beautiful landscape photos. I’m also a solo-mom and solo-female traveler, navigating the world with confidence and sharing those experiences along the way.

I launched Bon Voyage Brenda in 2024, and in my first year, my content reached over 1 million viewers. Through my blog, social media, and YouTube channel, I share travel guides, solo female travel insights, and photography tips to inspire others to embark on their own journeys with confidence.
